We pushed out an update that drastically reduces the amount of time it takes for the game to launch. Some players are seeing their games launch 50% faster! 🚀 We understand there were lots of issues when we initially released the launcher, and we've been hard at work to address them. Since last weekend's release, we've deployed the following fixes, which are also listed on lunarclient.com/changelog 📋 • Fixed an issue where some settings had the wrong defaults set • Fixed an issue caused when cold starting the launcher • Fixed an issue causing accounts to not communicate with our backend correctly • Fixed an issue preventing users to equip cosmetics when wearing nothing • Fixed an issue where certain mods weren't saving keybinds properly (Quickplay & AutoTextHotkey) • Fixed an issue where users were unable to set keybinds for gamemodes • Fixed an issue where rendering was broken with the new Nvidia Driver 535.54.03 • Fixed an issue where certain settings were not using the correct defaults (Game Resolution & Game Branch) • Fixed an issue causing the launcher to not load anything on startup when using IPv6 • Fixed an issue where certain settings weren't persisting (Animations, Tooltips, & New Indicators) • Fixed reconnect task not reporting correct errors to Lunar Client services • Fixed reconnect task causing infinite loops and eating memory • Fixed an issue where users were able to double launch the same version • Fixed an issue where some users weren't able to reconnect to Lunar Client Services (Friends, Cosmetics, etc.) • Fixed an issue when trying to load accounts with invalid json • Fixed an issue where the game would crash sometimes on startup when loading settings • Fixed an issue where Minecraft settings were resetting every relaunch on modern versions (1.17+) • Fixed an issue where the Lunar Client logo's color would bleed into the tab list • Fixed an issue where chat messages weren't being sent sometimes on 1.19.2 • Fixed an issue where the Render Nametags option while rendering wasn't working properly • Fixed an issue where the Host World button wasn't appearing in Escape Menu on 1.19.3+ • Fixed an issue where scrolling wouldn't work when viewing the Emotes Menu from the main menu • Fixed an issue where the main menu buttons would be off centered when viewing emotes • Fixed an issue where the Lunar+ Icon would render below the box for Emotes • Fixed an issue where the launcher wasn't being started properly on computer startup • Fixed an issue where modules weren't being set properly when launching (Forge/Fabric) • Fixed an issue causing third person nametags to not appear for users on versions 1.16.5+ Additionally, we also fixed a ton of backend and internal bugs that are not user-facing! 🛠
