Following this explanation, you can see Taber execute the press glove action at game speed on a play where it was extremely necessary. The reason why he is using the press glove action on this play is to turn a tricky short in between hop into a much more manageable short hop by pressing forward through the ball before bringing the ball back to his mid line center line and throwing to first for the out. #DoingDirtWork
