For the second time this year, @LibertyBaseball RHP Ben Blair is the @ConferenceUSA pitcher of the week. Against Hofstra last Friday, Blair went 7 innings and posted a new career-high 12 strikeouts in a 7-2 win.

Stat of the day.. After Sunday, Jaxon Sorenson has now hit 15 home runs in his time with @LibertyBaseball. Nine of them have either tied the game or given the Flames the lead. He’s also hit two walk-off homers.

@John_6__47 @AnotherJerryLU In the hip or the ribs, I think it is. Head hunting is never OK. I could be wrong but I have some old mentality in me.. I think young guys now don’t know when and when not to do it, plus velo is much harder = more dangerous.

@npierce84 @AnotherJerryLU Love you, Nick, but I couldn’t disagree much more. Breaking up a double play is bush league, but drilling a guy with a fastball is acceptable?

That's pretty Bush League. Guess we need to create a rule now that the batter is also retired if a fielder intentionally gets hit by the ball to break up a double play.
