Following calls and engagements with the administration, the SRC is pleased to announce the construction of a new hostel.The hostel will accommodate 2000 residents. This will go a long way in alleviating the accomodation crisis that our students currently face👏@UzSec

ON A GOOD NOTE: Please note that the University has Commenced construction of a new residence adjacent to NC5 and New Hall. The facility will house 2000 students upon completion.

Today ,the SRC had a meeting with the Director of Female Students Network @femalestudents and East Waste Management to discuss issues & projects with regards to access to justice, female empowerment and promoting female participation in leadership @PetronellaMabi1 @UzSec

@Wallen93162510 @UzSec This glass is actually empty, no offense. Tell me how you can approve interez 1st before accommodation. What benefit or what's been solved neInterez. It's more like a diversion from real issues.

Please note that INTER Hostel visitations have now been approved with effect from today 11 May 2022 as follows: Monday to Friday 1200hrs to 2200hrs Saturdays and Sundays 1030hrs to 2230hrs. The proper guidelines will follow soon.NB* Outside visitors are not allowed.

We have noted with concern the poor service delivery offered by the catering services today. The SRC intends to engage the department tomorrow to remind them to stick to their mandate and provide quality services as per our agreement when accommodation fees were increased.
