At this, he stared at me in surprise, and the people around us in the train began watching us with curiosity. Then, making my offer even more tempting, I said that if he begged in the name of Lord Ram, I would give him "50 rupees." However, the beggar refused to agree to this and walked away, muttering under his breath. Sensing his dogmatism, I simply went back to reading my newspaper. But this incident taught me a lesson: even a beggar who has nothing to eat and survives by begging does not compromise his religion for the sake of money. So, are those who call themselves Hindus... even worse off than a beggar? ... Are they always ready to betray their faith and turn 'secular' out of greed for personal gain (money or position)? प्रयागराज में एक युवक का नंबर प्लेट में गड़बड़ी और बिना हेलमेट बाइक चलाने के आरोप में पुलिस ने 6000 रुपये का चालान काट दिया। उसके बाद युवक वहां से जा रहा था, तभी जिस पुलिसवाले ने उसका चालान काटा था, वही रास्ते में बाइक से जाता हुआ दिख गया। पुलिसवाला खुद बिना हेलमेट लगाए बाइक चला रहा था। यह देखकर युवक गुस्से में आ गया। इसके बाद युवक ने उन्हें बाइक रोकने को कहा और पूछा, "सर, आपने मेरा चालान तो काट दिया, लेकिन आप भी तो बिना हेलमेट लगाए जा रहे हैं।" इस पर पुलिसवाले ने कहा, "छूट गया है।" युवक ने जवाब दिया, "ऐसे कैसे छूट गया? आपको हेलमेट लगाकर चलना चाहिए।" इसके बाद पुलिसवाले ने उसका मोबाइल छीनने की कोशिश की, तो युवक ने कहा, "दूर से बात कीजिए सर। जब आपने मेरा चालान काटा है, तो आपका भी कटना चाहिए।" बताइए, कुछ पुलिसवाले दूसरों को यातायात नियमों का पालन करने की सलाह तो खूब देते हैं, लेकिन खुद उनका पालन नहीं कर पाते। ऐसे लोगों पर भी यातायात नियमों के तहत कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए..!
