This is all very trite. The 1700 was a reference to 1700 contracts viewed by the expert engaged by Ripple Alan Schwartz or his staff who prepared an expert report in the SEC v Ripple case. He did not refer to them as NDAs, nor did ripple, nor the court. It is however likely that many and most of these contracts contained confidentiality or non-disclosure clauses. Their real interest is not undisclosed price changing secrets but the identity of the parties that Ripple was contracting with at that time.
