@cyclingvisionPT I don't really see the point in that. Especially not on the upcoming climbs with a 5% grade, where you can save watts in the wheel. That's just shooting yourself in the foot. Besides, you also have to ask yourself how realistic it is. Can they even attack with the high pace?

@cyclingvisionPT Yeah, it’s another 10 km or so of a slight uphill. Then there’s a long stretch of gentle downhill. Maybe they’ll bring Novak back to lead out on the Cote de Wanne and Stockeu in 30 km.

@Belgiantrencher @faustocoppi60 That’s not the point right now. The point is that this move has only increased the pace, meaning the riders will enter the final hour even more fatigued. There’s also a chance that Evenepoel could end up isolated or be forced to waste energy, the Redoute is still a long way off.

Van der Poel was by far the best yesterday. But again, luck is also part of Roubaix. hats off to Van Aert
