@brodenholland posted some interesting numbers on the X9. Figured I compile ‘24 data of our 8800 Lexion running a Seed terminator. This year included some challenging canola and borderline moisture wheat, barley was pretty good going. We also harvest our cereals off the deck.

Managed to get the little double skip trials wrapped up before rain hit in the dirty south. Module calculations suggesting impressive results! First 2 photos fully irrigated same as solid. Second 2 watered a third as often with wet summer helping…

Has any body got any vixen seed that test well in germ test in southern NSW or northern Vic? Thanks

Has anyone found a home for canola with more than 5% shot/sprung in sth NSW. Segs for light test weight have opened but none for a higher tolerance of shot, this sample would make the grade but worried about sending a truck & also have worse weather damaged paddocks

Windowing timing of canola 70% = no yield loss 65% = 0-5% loss 60% = 5% loss 55% = 5-7.5% loss 50% = 5-10% loss At 5% colour change per day (historic average) & 5 days of windowing I need to start at 50% colour change to finish at 70% colour change. @JamesMadden36 @brill_ag

Sieves on the header after 80 ha of canola. Hadn’t seen any mice activity before harvest. And only very few running in the lights at night. Bit of a concern for cropping next season.
