In remembrance of EPCA pupils who tragically lost their lives in the Grenfell fire — Yahya, Firdaws, and Yacub of the Hashim family — our children visited the Hashim memorial tree to pay their respects.

For Black History Month, I want to highlight Black bookshops including New Beacon Books, the UK’s 1st Black bookshop. Back in 2021, owners said they’d be closing their doors due to financial constraints but people raised over £70k to keep them open. Check them out all year round
