We are pleased to announce that we have obtained funding for a VanRaam #EasyRider Compact e-trike, to add to our existing VanRaam #Fun2Go e-trike. This project is funded by David Skaith, Mayor of York and North Yorkshire and York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.

There are plans to re‑balance parking charges across the county’s car parks. We aim to ensure that the parking service covers its costs, and that there is fairness and consistency. The plans will be discussed next week and, if approved, new car parking tariffs will be effective from 1 April, which would help to support the service and protect our key frontline services. Voluntary sector steps in where maintenance is not happening in #Whitby

@northyorksc Good news for Tadcaster. Whitby, on the other hand, has no public conveniences in the bus station (closed yrs ago), is dilapidated, and attracts people "hanging around" ... anything but welcoming.
