@WithOneSeed is the first @goldstandard certified carbon forestry program in @TimorLeste, working with subsistence farming communities to replant their forests, creating a more sustainable and equal world. /2

TreeO2 community forestry management platform has been developed by the #xpandFoundation to manage the @goldstandard certified @WithOneSeed smallholder forestry program in #TimorLeste. It uses RFID/NFC tags attached to every tree under management. /1

@WithOneSeed co-founder and director @andrewmahar has been appointed the Victorian Honorary Consul of #TimorLeste. Andrew has been working on the ground in 🇹🇱 for 18 years delivering programs based around climate justice, local economy development & environmental education.
