Today, the EU, together with #TimorLeste's Gov, and other stakeholders officially launched the Technical Course in Community and Cultural Tourism at the Tibar Professional Training Center to train future professionals qualified to work in the tourism and culture sector.

Ambassador @FiedrichMarc with authorities from Dili Municipal Authority, MSA, and Church launched the first stone of the Public Space Requalification under EU's project to strengthen Urban Governance, Social Inclusion and Promote Entrepreneurship in Dili, #TimorLeste.

Through one-on-one consultations with government institutions, EU and ITC, in collaboration with MNEC, we provided valuable technical support for the preparation of Market Access Offer (MAO) for ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA) revisions and (AFAS) for uncommitted services.

Tara Bandu is a traditional way of resolving conflicts at community level in 🇹🇱. In Maliana today, it was great to see traditional leaders signing up for a new Tara Bundu to address gender-based violence, making sure that their traditions remain relevant to today’s problems.

Haktuir ai-knanoik - Telling stories, more particularly those of Timor-Leste, is what this Foundation has done for 10 years. Happy that the EU could play a part in making sure that the stories of this young nation keep getting told.

🇹🇱 Parliament plays a key role in ASEAN accession. Not just because new legislation is needed Parliament also helps people understand ASEAN and how it can benefit them. Thank you to President Lay and Chairs of Commission C and D for their commitment.

ASEAN membership will not automatically bring benefits to 🇹🇱. Good to see government agencies preparing to formulate good market access offers to promote 🇹🇱 interests. Pleased that the 🇪🇺can collaborate on this.
