@NFLFrascella So what if he plays that kind of character? It’s not like he’s targeting it. It’s what comes up. It’s reflective of where a lot of men in culture are; followers. It might just be the types of characters being written because it’s in our culture.

I just finished ‘One Battle After Another’ on HBO Max First third of the film is a firecracker, Teyana Taylor electrifies the proceedings as Perfidia Beverly Hills Second act is also great, love the stuff with Benicio del Toro and his ‘little Harriet Tubman thing’ Director Paul Thomas Anderson does his heavy lifting in the del Toro section, lot of quick cuts and sharp movements and deep world-building But the film fizzles out in the final third, a lot of the Sean Penn and Chase Infiniti stuff just didn’t work for me And notice how I didn’t even mention Leonardo DiCaprio? He was very funny at times, but he’s in a very bizarre phase of his (living) legendary career He keeps playing these ‘follower’ characters, or weak characters, their movements are always dictated by somebody else I see a lot of the same in Rick Dalton, his character from Killers of the Flower Moon and Bob Ferguson here - what does this say about where Leo is at in life? In the end, there’s a lot of good stuff in the first two acts… for now I give ‘One Battle After Another’ a 7.5 out of 10 What did you think of it?
