What is one thing you wished to understood earlier ?

I love paying with cash. It feels so aristocratic. Cash provides financial privacy, autonomy, and limits government intrusion into personal transactions. Cash is a safeguard against the abuse of power. Cashless societies are vulnerable to manipulation, surveillance, enslavement. Resist.

Besides some rare cases, in every situation there’s usually an equal and opposing amount of good and bad elements, benefits and downsides. It’s just the combination and disposition of these forces interacting with our sets of characteristics that make the final result appear as more or less striking and appealing before our eyes. such combinations always change due to one of the most basic universal laws, which is energy transmutation. Nothing stays the same, ever. Change is constant and therefore it’s also often beyond our control. As simple as it may sound, this is a reality ignored by most of us. we usually get so much focused on what we want, but completely ignore what we’re gonna lose in the process to get that. now take these losses into account. Is the exchange still valid? that’s why speed is often emphasized, as it minimises the risk of unaccounted changes during the trajectory towards our goals. But it also entails a certain degree of blindness. So in the end rationality is pretty much of a mirage. Following your gut has much more upside potential.
