Ruben definitely sounds done. One of my hopes with Rubens appointment and his insistence on a system, was we wouldn’t inevitably revert to the same football the last 3 managers ended up playing. He’s done that. Unfortunately it’s just… not working at all. If he does walk and there’s a new manager, I’d have the same hopes. I don’t want a pragmatist who just reverts to what we’ve already seen. I’ve also pretty much lost any belief that a manager is going to change much. It’s hard to put your finger on why we can never count on players to perform for 2 games in a row but it’s been a problem for so long it just feels hopeless.
