McDonald Mariga and his brother Victor Wanyama decided to build Wanyama Football Academy in Busia. I am asking myself, who plays football in Busia? Since when did people from Western Kenya start playing football? The best place to put a sports academy is in Nairobi. Is ushago.

NYAGEGES: This term refers to Raila sycophants hailing from the Nyanza region. They spend their days calling other communities Tugege, yet they embody the same attribute they constantly berate. Mount Kenya have never held onto the idea of a kingpin. Ask Kibaki who tried imposing MaDVD in 2013. Ask Uhuru who tried imposing Baba in 2022. But anyone who has tried going against the Baba hegemony in Nyanza has faced repercussions, isolation and exclusion by being cast into political oblivion. Corrupt Siaya Governor Orengo Jimmy (who is just looting Siaya coffers) tried vying for presidency in 2002 and he saw dust. He had to reinvent his political career by bootlicking Baba in 2007. We even forgot about smart brains like Joe Donde who once tried tackling the cannibalistic banking sector head-on. He went against Baba akajipata mataani. All we are saying is people living in glass houses should not throw stones. Come down from that high horse. Don’t profile other people yet you yourselves are suffering from acute/clinical/terminal ugegeism.

@gabrieloguda Jodon Sancho and Marcel Sabitzer were among the most disregarded players in the Manchester United squad but they are shining with Dortmund. They left Manchester United for Amrabat, Mason Mount and the underperforming ilk.

@UDAPartyKe They should not complain coz they're serving a god-chosen government. They will find delicacies in heaven and also get new bodies there. I thought wakipiga Azimio demonstrators, they were going to be treated better.

@MrRightke I find it a very perilous route to take thinking this way. I mean, have you ever imagined what would happen to your kids if you never empowered/allowed your woman to be empowered financially and/or intellectually?

Father Lucian reminds me of last year December as I was strolling at Naivas Supermarket and, came across a certain father here in Meru county. He seemed like a nice man. He asked for my number and I shared it with him. Later, he asks me to pick a trolley and help him with shopping. I was therefore picking stuff and he'd ask me to add more. So, we went to the alcohol section and, he asked me to pick as much as I wanted. I have never been in such a situation before so, I was afraid of picking expensive ones but he insisted. When we got to the counter, the bill was 83K. I began to think that he was doing the shopping for a charity. I don't know much about cars but I think that was the latest outlander model then. Shopping was packed in the boot and some on the seats. He asked me to get in and he'd drop me off at my place. As we proceeded, he began opening up about how much he felt stressed and just needed someone to talk to. We drove from Meru town to Isiolo marquee that was around 8pm. We went to a restaurant, had a meal and he'd talk endlessly as I listened to him. At around 12am we began our journey back. So, when we reached my place, he gave me 5K and asked the soldier to unpack things from the boot. Let me tell you! I didn't see that coming. He said if could give them away to people I know and gave the solder a bottle of alcohol. He left and said we'd catch-up again. The next day I was literally distributing all that shopping to the neighbours and, they've never been so happy. Since that day, I decided to back off because I was afraid it would lead me to trouble if I kept hanging out with him or he could ask me to pay back. I realized he was a senior Father and that surprised me.
