@2ndRoi @kmahta58 @HonzaRihaftbl Come on, none of these were played in the league besides Arnold beyond maybe Woodbury and Danny Ward They got starts in cups It wasn’t like he was relying on them when his first 11 went out of commission

@_Wilson_One @kmahta58 @HonzaRihaftbl This isn't true. He played Randall in his first season at Liverpool. He played Arnold, Ojo, & Ward as early as 2016. I remember Woodburn, Ejaria, Kent. Even Pedro and Brannagan. Players we barely think of today, he still platformed them early. Mostly in cups, still more than Slot

@kmahta58 @2ndRoi @HonzaRihaftbl Bro, I remember Klopp. He platformed the youth in teams that worked and this began halfway through his tenure Not saying he wasn’t better than Slot but he had 10 years

@_Wilson_One @2ndRoi @HonzaRihaftbl He himself has given more chance to Morton and was later send to loan. He didn't want Fabio it was obvious. Ramsay was mostly injured so even if he wanted he couldn't. But Klopp understood his mistake and played defenders who were available. That's the difference.

@2ndRoi @kmahta58 @HonzaRihaftbl Klopp played Henderson and Fabinho in CB until Henderson got injured and he couldn’t anymore. Then he resorted to Williams and Phillips l Klopp also didn’t play Ramsay who was around when he was around. Nor did he play Carvalho, Morton and many others

@_Wilson_One @kmahta58 @HonzaRihaftbl When Klopp had injuries he played Trent (& the rest was history). When we were lacking in midfield, he trusted in several different youngsters. Slot keeps playing Szobo & Curtis in RB when Ramsey, a natural RB, is right there. I don't care if he's not good enough yet, he will...

@brezsean @dlmjnk He won’t be sacked off the back of bad results He’ll only be sacked if we fail to achieve CL/win a trophy Slot isn’t Klopp, the decision to sack him has to be taken by the SD

In a very crowded field, that result against Spurs last Sunday was probably the worst of our season.

Rio is not giving you 80 minutes Chiesa is not giving you 80 minutes Both would require another sub to be used later in the game It's shocking the level of - or lack thereof - intelligence and simple critical thinking from our fans. Are they all 12 or something? #LFC
Red Sulk 💥@BigRedSulk

Ekitike went off after 7 minutes and he brought on Curtis Jones. It's fucking baffling. What formation were we playing at that point? Who was up front and why? Why did you not just bring Rio on to the left and shift your wife up front?

@DaveOCKOP Took Konate off & put Grav at CB - lost every single game he's done that (6/6). Brought Jones on for the centreforward & put him at rightback. Watched Ngumoha roasting his man & move him to the opposite flank, with Chiesa CF, to keep 6'4 Gakpo stinking up the left. Get out.

Arne Slot on Liverpool's 10th defeat of the season: "It is clear that we have lost a lot of points after playing in Europe. I have tried to explain a lot of times already why this is but today we also have to give credit to Brighton. In the second half, they were the better team on the pitch." (TNT)

@liverheart @lfcG122 Illogical argument when research has proven preseason conditioning is what keeps athletes running intensely throughout the season You can’t understand this season has been so poor for more reasons than the manager so you start copying rival talking points

@_Wilson_One @lfcG122 Ignorance is when you create an illogical argument that professional athletes remain unfit due to a disrupted preseason, so be grateful we won a title under this fraud and thankful he'll be removed in the summer. He'd rather party in Ibiza than train with the team!

Alright, so what I'm getting from fanbase's reaction to this is that they'd prefer a very intense session right after we just run our season high with a 12.30 kick off awaiting us on Saturday to maximise chances of our players dropping like flies due to injuries. Great!
Anfield Sector@AnfieldSector

Arne Slot said on Friday that the main focus after the Galatasaray game was recovery (sleep, food, and rest). He said most players didn’t train, with only a tiny group (about 3–5 players) doing a proper session. He said the Friday training session was very short (15–20 minutes) and not intense.

@teaandchips No he’s saying we were doing recovery. Same as Klopp did which is why Klopp used to complain so much

This quote from Van Dijk is damning. Slot needs to go asap. “I was also surprised when I was on the training pitch yesterday [Friday] and I only saw the amount of players that I saw, but that is the situation.” Is he saying training is optional? AND that players are opting out?

@liverheart @lfcG122 You’re displaying your ignorance here. Preseason determines fitness for the season. Jurgen achieved champions league on the last day

@_Wilson_One @lfcG122 Preseason was 8 months ago! Wtf, silly excuse season 🙄 Jurgen achieved Champions league football with Nat Phillips and Williams at the back during an injury plaqued nightmare, Slot can't even motivate his players to outrun relegation fodder😆

@lfcG122 Very seldom seen a Jurgen Klopp team struggling like this, never any questions about training and teams intensity, and Jurgen faced far more 12.30 kickoffs over many seasons after European football.

Virgil van Dijk: “My initial reaction [is one of] frustration, I think I have been repeating myself lately. It is the situation. I was also surprised when I was on the training pitch yesterday [Friday] and I only saw the amount of players that I saw, but that is the situation. So yes, it is tough.”

@montszzz First twenty minutes we should’ve killed them off. But we didn’t. Once Trent went off injured we were done. If he stayed on, I reckon we win tbh
