@Lil_w3sker Built a content platform prior. Moderating spam was easily the most challenging part, and ultimately crushed the platform in the end.

Big news for designers. A few of the biggest platforms in the design space reached out about this concept. The possibility of something like this being built is now highly likely. Here's my vision: Twitter is, and always will be, a phenomenal place for designers to connect, share work, and most importantly, get hired. But it could be so much better still if it were to be personalized for the design community. Here's the core parts as I see it: 1. Feed Think Twitter. Nothing revolutionary here. But the array of content is what makes all the difference. Share memes. Post work in progress. Ask for feedback. Talk about your love (or hate) for auto-layout. It's up to you. No confusing algorithms. Sort content by who you're following, or what's popular, or what's new (the latter to help bring visibility to lesser-known creators). 2. Inspiration Want to get rid of all the noise of the feed and just consume beautiful design work all day? You can do that too. Filter by landing pages, branding, mobile apps, logos...you name it. Posts published in the main feed are uniquely tagged to appear here. 3. Hire designers Easily find and hire designers based on skills, location, and more. Looking for someone good at Webflow? Easy. Need an amazing motion designer? You can find that too. 4. Buckets Come across something dope you want to save for later for inspiration? Save it to easily reference later on. Think Pinterest, but natively built inside. 5. Groups/Communities Learning Blender but need some support? Join the 3D group. Building a productized design agency? There's a group for that too. Groups could exist for virtually any category, connecting like-minded people together easier than ever before. 6. Portfolio Combine your work, and posts, into one beautiful portfolio page. Showcase your skills, availability, and more to increase your chances of being hired. 7. Featured Creators Each week we'd feature new diverse set of designers for you to discover and follow. 8. And so much more. The list above doesn't even include the best features. I'll save those for another day. 👀 Would love to hear your thoughts.

WALDO 3.0 will feature a new augmentation pipeline (much more robust to messy data), a new dataset and instance segmentation as an extra output! Anything else I should add?

WALDO beta v2.5 preview video!! 🚀🚀🚀 Switched the base network to Yolo v7 instead of v7-e6e for a 4x speedup in training and inference, while gaining 10% in recall over most classes (except smoke)... what do you think? I will probably still train a larger network but it won't be in the beta release for now. As usual sign up for the beta at aircortex.com, or email me for the update if you're already in the beta!

2023: $30,000 to get a simple iPhone app created, $300 for a plumbing job. i wonder what those relative prices will look like in 2028! the likely coming divergence between changes to cognitive work and changes to physical work could be quite dramatic.

Algorithmic trading is the domain of secretive hedge funds and banks. Python unlocked these secrets for everyone (even Goldman Sachs has an open-source tool). Use the same tools the professionals use. Here are 17 Python libraries that open the black box:

Bots, multi-accounting, and cheating are destroying Web3 games. 1// These fraudsters descend on an ecosystem, pump the economy short-term, extract value, and leave you with nothing. By the time the game takes action, it’s usually too late. A 🧵

A Bloomberg Terminal costs $24,000 per year. It's the portal to all the world's financial data. Unaffordable for 99% of us. Reserved for the Wall Street elite to outfox the normal investor. Until now:
