As an athlete, you need to have realistic expectations for your performance in games. Don’t be a perfectionist. By accepting that it’s impossible to be perfect, you’ll do a better job staying calm and moving on from mistakes.

As an athlete, always root for your teammates’ success. Don't be the guy who secretly hopes their teammates fail. Being a true friend to your teammates will make you happier and more successful in the long run.
