@classifiedbird Shivali , a lifestyle and fashion influencer visited the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Centre for Design and experienced the various indigenous crafts of India.

D. Venkatesh, hailing from a lineage of traditional leather workers and puppeteers in Nimmalkunta village, Andhra Pradesh, has brought his hereditary craft to life as a result of collaborations with Studio Moya in the last 8 years.

The puppet making community, predominantly Balija artisans from Maharashtra, migrated to Andhra Pradesh, passing down the art of leather puppetry through generations. Transitioning from their Marathi roots, they've integrated into the Telugu state.

Rashmi Singh, a visionary in cultivating resilient livelihoods and preserving traditional crafts, is spearheading the incubation of Tholu Bommalata craft at ABCD. She orchestrates the craft's display, mapping the artisanal journey with process visualization.
