If you earn £120,000 a year in the UK, you keep just 29p of every pound you make.
And it’s only getting worse under Labour.
Higher taxes, more red tape, and endless punishment for anyone who dares to work hard, take risks, or build something of value.
They talk about “fairness,” but what’s fair about pushing away talent, driving out investment, and leaving ordinary families with higher bills and fewer opportunities?
What’s fair about squeezing small businesses until they fold, while politicians pat themselves on the back for “doing something”?
The UK already has a productivity crisis, a skills shortage, and an investment drought — and instead of fixing the root cause, Labour doubles down on the same tired tax‑and‑spend dogma that’s been failing for decades.
We’re becoming one of the worst places in the developed world to work, innovate, or raise a family.
Success isn’t just unrewarded.
It’s punished.
But sure, let’s keep pretending envy is a strategy for growth. Let’s keep driving away anyone who actually creates jobs and prosperity.
Let’s keep chanting “tax the rich.”
And wonder why Britain is failing.

@ShakinthatChalk We did but I've seen first hand multiple occasions that it's being abused.

English

@ShakinthatChalk I see. Had to google that. But I get it, I'm much the same. How else is it supposed to be taught? Glad I work in a college where trad methods seem to be the norm

@dylanwiliam Galois theory is used to understand why the formula for a quintic doesnt exist. I understood it more when I could see it being used. This video is good. There is a better on with just a guy writing on paper, its in parts but I can find it.
