This is a nice touch in iOS 18 Podcasts. Scrub with your finger and the chapters are demarcated along the track, and the chapter title is shown in a call-out.

Have you ever done a dense grid search over neural network hyperparameters? Like a *really dense* grid search? It looks like this (!!). Blueish colors correspond to hyperparameters for which training converges, redish colors to hyperparameters for which training diverges.

In my latest for my Forbes column, I wrote about how big it is that Apple Podcasts —by far the most popular podcast app on the iPhone etc—is getting transcripts come iOS 17.4. It makes podcasts more inclusive of Deaf and H/H people especially. forbes.com/sites/stevenaq…

Really nice implementation of auto-transcripts in iOS 17.4 Podcasts; it even uses chapter markers as section headings!
