hey @circle @CoinbaseDev @Polymarket built Stoa for the Agora Agents hackathon and its a x402 facilitator for prediction market analysis on @arc Testnet
- what stoa is
an AI analyst that reads a polymarket question and returns a calibrated verdict (buy/sell/pass) with confidence, edge, kelly-sized recommendation, and a full reasoning trace pinned to IPFS. multi-model ensemble of claude haiku plus 2 claude sonnets at different temperatures, judged by a meta-agent that adjusts for calibration domain (politics vs crypto vs macro)
- why i built it
prediction markets are mispriced often, but spotting it requires synthesizing news, sentiment, history, and market microstructure faster than a human can. most "AI for trading" projects today are an LLM call wrapped around a chart. i wanted to see what disciplined ensemble reasoning plus real on-chain settlement actually looks like
- why it's different, two surfaces one engine
1. telegram bot @stoa_insight_bot, for humans. type /analyze, pay 0.15 USDC, get a verdict
2. POST /api/x402/analyze, for agents. any wallet on Arc Testnet can call it, pay 0.15 USDC, get the same verdict.
both pay the same on-chain contract, both produce the same kind of reasoning trace, one engine two protocols
- on confidentiality (the part i'm most proud of)
every analysis is a small financial leak. on chain, 3 plaintext USDC transfers fingerprint your spend pattern. on IPFS, the trace contains your bankroll and recommended position size in dollars
confidential mode closes both:
payments go through @0xfairblock StableTrust, amounts FHE-encrypted on chain
trace pin strips bankroll, kelly fraction, and position size before publishing to IPFS
observers see encrypted transfers and a redacted trace. spend pattern and position size are no longer recoverable
- how to test the telegram bot
1. open @stoa_insight_bot in telegram, hit /start, the bot creates an Arc Testnet wallet for you
2. run /balance to see your wallet address
3. claim Arc Testnet USDC from faucet.circle.com (paste your wallet address)
4. run /analyze
