Hey @Avis - People don’t rent cars to have an extra car on hand should they need it. It’s a timed necessity. Also, a prepaid reservation should provide an AvisPlus customer with a car, especially when they are understanding and would take any car. Huge fail.

Assuming my @Avis rental was so cheap because you have to pay for AC. 2 1/2 hrs in rush hour traffic from Dulles to Baltimore was no fun. The chocolate I brought back from the UK melted. Note to self - don’t assume in 93°+ heat the car will take a few minutes to cool down. Wait!

Regarding the Visa card, acceptance can vary by location, and only the rental location can confirm whether a specific card—especially if it is a debit card—is accepted for that reservation. @Avis Please report that your website does not work. Tried on my phone and tried & computer. When I call to reserve of course it’s a higher rate. And for some reason I have one Visa card that will not work even though I use it elsewhere all of the time. And I’m Avis preferred
