Ep 6 This one was just fun. A lot of the build-up from earlier episodes actually paid off here. The story threads finally connected and it felt rewarding to watch. This was the first episode where I wasn’t judging the show, I was just in it.

Just finished Stranger Things Season 1 for the first time - here’s my episode breakdown: 1️⃣ Ep 1 — 4.0 2️⃣ Ep 2 — 4.0 3️⃣ Ep 3 — 7.0 4️⃣ Ep 4 — 7.5 5️⃣ Ep 5 — 8.5 6️⃣ Ep 6 — 8.5 7️⃣ Ep 7 — 6.5 8️⃣ Ep 8 — 4.0 Overall: 6/10. Solid season. I get why people love it.

Ep 5 This episode is where the show finally locked in for me. The energy picked up, and the pacing finally matched the tension. Characters are starting to click and the mystery is actually interesting now. This is the first time I genuinely wanted to keep watching.

Ep 4: This is where it finally clicked. Joyce’s light alphabet went crazy, Hopper on full Batman mode, and the quarry/body reveal had me locked in. Momentum’s real now.

Ep 3: This is where things finally started heating up for me. Still not crazy action-wise, but Joyce making the Christmas light alphabet wall was actually fire. That scene finally made everything feel real and emotional instead of just spooky. Hopper is still carrying

Ep 2: Honestly same vibe as Ep 1 for me. If I wasn’t reacting to this I probably wouldn’t have kept going. Nothing really grabbed me yet . Just felt “fine.” Hopper is still the only one keeping me locked in.

Ep 1: I’ve actually tried to watch this episode like 4 times over the years and always bounced off. Still feels a bit slow and weird at first. The 80s aesthetic is fire though. Story just didn’t fully hook me yet.
