Elliot Anderson.
What a performance from this brilliant midfielder. Hugo Viana needs to pay Evangelos what he wants and secure him at the Etihad. We genuinely need him.
Tidy, crisp passer of the ball. Visionary. Ball-winner. Brilliant ball-carrier. Glides through pressure with balance and control. He's the exact physical profile we've been crying out for.
Dropped between the centre-backs to aid build-up, progressed the ball in the second phase, and even got into the third phase a few times to win second balls. Denied central progression to Modrić (had to be subbed off) and Pašalić all night. And that assist for Bellingham, man. Brilliant.
A wonder of a midfielder we can't afford to waste. Bring him to the Etihad.

English

@Aishagunners From what I saw , he is worth around 60 - 70 million , I will rather go for Tonali

🚨 HIJACK ALERT Arsenal Ready to Steal Rival's Dream Signing 😳
ARSENAL READY TO SHOCK THE PREMIER LEAGUE!
Arsenal have reportedly entered the race to hijack a Premier League rival's move for highly-rated star Anderson! 👀
The Gunners are monitoring the situation closely, but the big question remains: would Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal board be willing to spend a staggering £120 MILLION to secure his signature?
One thing is certain,,Arsenal mean business this summer, and no target is off limits if it strengthens the squad for another title push.
🤔 Arsenal fans, would you pay £120m for Anderson, or should the club invest elsewhere?
LET'S HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS?

@29Havertz43802 Do you think Morgan Rodgers is an upgrade of Eze ? Rodgers might suffer the same during his first season at Arsenal , its the system.
English

🚨 Berta and Arteta may need to make a difficult decision regarding Eberechi Eze and consider offers if the right one arrives. I like Ebs, but if I'm being honest, I wasn't impressed by his performances last season.
Some fans will argue he was brought in during a difficult period after Kai Havertz's injury, and that's fair. But Arsenal are aiming for the very top, and every player has to justify their place in the squad.
With Morgan Rogers reportedly on the way and many fans still backing Ødegaard, competition for places is only going to increase. For me, Merino and Havertz are currently untouchable.
What's your honest opinion on Eze's future at Arsenal? 👇

English

@charles_watts Jealous that you are good at something in real private life they practice it
English

@Shadaya_Knight But these ones that wear earnings surely they can't beat me up.

English

@robertmarawa DRC needs to make quick right decision in the final third, they could have won if they have been decisive upfront.
English

@JHFootballAgent But Chelsea have 50 players in his position they should strengthen goalie, defence, midfielders and attack lol
English

Exclusive: Aston Villa #AVFC would prefer to sell Morgan Rogers to Chelsea, due to interest in both Benoit Badiashile and Nicolas Jackson. Chelsea are prepared to offer a £100m package for Morgan Rogers. Rogers prefers Arsenal, but Chelsea are his second choice due to relationships with ex City staff. #CFC

@NewsHawksLive I dont know why you still call them opposition MP, just mention his name without putting false context.

Before adjourning proceedings to today afternoon after midnight, the
National Assembly transformed into a political battleground as tensions boiled over during the fierce second reading debate on Constitutional Amendment Bill (No.3).
Opposition Marondera Central MP Caston Matewu took the floor, launching a passionate attack against the proposed legislative changes which shake the political, electoral and governance systems of the country.
Some of the changes at stake include elongating President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s tenure by two years, shifting election of the President from direct popular vote to selection by parliament and extending the electoral cycle and presidential term from five to seven years.
Matewu argued his constituents had overwhelmingly rejected the bill during public consultations.
Just minutes into address, Deputy Speaker Tsitsi Gezi cut him off, informing Matewu that his allocated debating time had completely elapsed.
Visibly frustrated, Matewu challenged the ruling, demanding the floor to finish his arguments. The situation quickly descended into chaos as Matewu refused to sit down.
In a dramatic show of protest, the opposition lawmaker threw a physical copy of the constitution toward the bench before being officially ordered out of the legislative chamber.
Security personnel and parliamentary ushers escorted him out, bringing an abrupt halt to his impassioned outburst.
The dramatic ejection of Matewu highlights the deep, bitter partisan divides surrounding the contentious constitutional amendments ik Zimbabwe.
CAB3 represents one of the most hotly pieces of legislation in recent years, only matched in intensity and passion by the debate over the 2000 constitutional commission draft constitution.
Supporters argue that the bill introduces necessary reforms to stabilise institutiond and governance, ensuring national development.
Conversely, remnants of the now captured opposition fiercely oppose it.
They say the amendments threaten foundational constitutional and democratic principles of the state.
The Speaker’s strict enforcement of time limits — which ultimately triggered Matewu’s explosive reaction — is viewed by critics as an attempt to stifle dissenting voices.
Justice minister Ziyambi Ziyambi says parliament has given MPs a record-breaking opportunity to debate, with more 110 legislators participating in the battle of wits.
The tumultuous incident reflects broader frustrations regarding the opposition's capacity to effectively debate and influence legislation in a polarised parliament.
The confrontation over the changes in parliament shows the grim reality of the deeply polarised political engagement regarding the contested constitutional changes.
By ejecting vocal opponents like Matewu, the ruling establishment shows it is determined to plough ahead with its legislative agenda, but deepens the rift with the opposition in democratic participation.
As CAB3 moves forward, the fierce clash in parliament underscores a turbulent political environment in which civic trust and parliamentary compromise remain deeply strained.

I received a call from MadziBaba VeShanduko. He is facing serious financial difficulties and is struggling to pay his children’s school fees and provide for their basic upkeep.
His home was burnt down, and he spent eight months in prison for a political crime he did not commit before later being acquitted by the courts.
We have set up a GoFundMe campaign to help him rebuild his life and support his family during this difficult period.
Please donate whatever you can and help spread the word.
