I'm curious, CUDA and Vulkan both are APIs that generate device specific microcode for GPU's. So for shaders shouldn't it be technically possible to write then interchangeably for one another?

If you want modern OpenGL on Windows, you need to create a fake invisible window that you use to get access to OpenGL, then you destroy this window, and only THEN you create your actual window for drawing. I know how it works, but I wonder how it got to this point historically. This is why you can sometimes see a brief blank window flash when you open a program that uses opengl. Because sometimes Windows just doesn't respect "don't show me" flag when you create a window!

@bitsgopew The laser is in the little box on the back. It shoots forward into the lens which then reflects backwards to your eye

I'm so curious as to where the LED goes for this sort of sights. I know its clever optics but surely if you hold the nerf gun some sort of way you can see that?
