Just want to be clear that I love this band! Music is amazing, execution is incredible. But I’m just surprised I’ve never seen something that off beat be so popular so quickly.

I have never seen a weird instrumental band go viral like Angine de Poitrine. Never see anything like it. It’s totally wild. For the last three months everyone I know has sent me their video at least once. Good for them but also wtf is happening?

Being a teenager/young adult in the 90s was a massive blessing. Great music. Awesome vibe. No smart phones. Personal connections. Maximum fun. Minimum evidence. I think it may have been pre-payment to compensate for the absolute shitshow that would be our mid-40s to mid-50s.
