While the OG Sapphire Weapon has its charm, it looks like a Pokémon with human teeth. The Remake version genuinely looks like a terrifying kaiju from the deep depths of the ocean.

Look, whether one enjoys this remake project or not, the games are definitely not "true to the original" Final Fantasy VII due to the deviations they made from the original story. It's already been announced that Bone Village is removed from part 3. There's just no need for Square Enix to say this when it's obviously not true. The audience is already split on this, anyone open to the new path the remakes have taken is likely already in until the end at this point.

Alright, I'm now 10 hours into FF7.
I know it's the OG, and the Remake does things differently. But in a weird way, OG feels like an ABRIDGED version of the story to me. Moments and pacing are faster...and I kind of don't like that.
I still think OG FF7 is pretty great so far.

I feel like the FF7 trailer doesn't make me feel excited at all, I think it looks just like Rebirth, which I didn't really like, But I will wait and see if there's anything interesting but If not I'll just open YouTube and watch the ending instead.
