There's been a lot of deserved love for Zavier Gozo and Diego Luna this year, but Sergi Solans is a DP-level striker in MLS. Plucked out of college soccer. Fantastic, well-rounded striker for Real Salt Lake.

It might be news to you but the clubs looking at the U-20 World Cup team saw him score and assist when he was there last summer.

Just seems like 25 years of loyalty and a $50 ask should be a no brainer. "Sir, no problem, is your spouse a t-mo customer? She is? Can we get her a free month too? Have a great trip!"

Been with @TMobile for 25 years. Called in 5 days ago to ask if they'd give me a free month international plan ($50) because I'm going on my honeymoon. Offered 1/2 off, I pressed them, they needed a few days to think about it, called, still thinking about it, waiting on an email.

The citizens and travelers of this country shouldn't have to adhere to any law or regulation the US government refuses to fund. (Even though everyone who has purchased a ticket has paid the fees that are supposed to be used to pay the TSA workers.)

I mean, you wanna get DHS funded again, making ICE the defacto TSA should do the trick. If it's one thing Democrats hate as much as Trump, it's ICE. Brilliant move really. And just in time, I'm flying in 3 weeks, need this sorted out.

@ASBaird My sister in NH had something similar happen to her with her 4 yr old daughter at the time. Looking at a black lady in the grocery store, "Mom, why is her skin dark like that?" My sister said, "That's how God decided to make her beautiful." Grace under pressure!

I live in Utah (already a very white state) and took my kids to go snow inner tubing at Soldier Hollow (arguably one of the whitest activities possible). Given those circumstances, I don't know how many black people go inner tubing at Soldier Hollow in Utah in a given winter month, but I can't imagine the numbers are very high. So while my 9 year-old daughter and I were riding the conveyor belt back up the hill, we pulled even with a black family walking up the hill. It was at that exact moment that my daughter, while we were right next to possibly the only black people to inner tube at Soldier Hollow that day (that week?!) turned to me and said, loudly, "Dad - what's the "N" word? Some kids at school said that there's a really bad word that starts with "N" but they didn't know what it was." I don't know what the chances were of here asking that exact question, at that exact time, in that exact spot, but I almost ditched my family and went to Wyoming for lottery tickets. (I explained it by reminding her that we talked about that word while we listened to Huck Finn.)
