Considering withdrawing service to specific high risk locations to protect taxi drivers. Drivers not prioritized for the vaccine. Hospitals calling to have them pick up COVID+ people just to have TPH tell them they have to stay home for 2 weeks right after. This isn’t their job.

Grateful to be speaking with @NatashaFatah tonight re taxi drivers deemed essential but have been used as front line by Toronto & the province while not being prioritized for the vaccine. Not even a mask, then forced to quarantine after doing the work they shouldn’t do. #COVID19

@blairenns Yes! Architecture needs to get rid of unpaid/lowpaid design competitions as a solid first step. Like the GDC has worked hard to do with spec creative (until Mad Men aired and undid their good work) linkedin.com/feed/update/ur…

@toderash using past success as evidence of future success is consistent with use of process framed case studies in QBS. POV a good step in right direction. Anti-RFP awareness is growing. nice work @nowsourcing

QBS was discussed at the first mayoral forum this week. We support the implementation of this process for municipal capital projects. Follow the link below to see why: acec-mb.ca/wp-content/upl…

Just to be clear - there is no such thing as a "Hybrid QBS process". If price is an evaluated criteria then it is just a typical price-based RFP and the benefits of QBS are lost. It is only QBS if price is not an evaluated criteria but a negotiated criteria.
