To me is wild when people justify marinette's lying as she is trying to not make adrien akumatized when 1) he is already suffering and has told her about it, so he can be akumatized any time. 2) SHE DOESN'T KNOW HE IS CHAT. SHE CANNOT BE AFRAID OF CHAT BLANC.

But I could be looking too much into it since this is a soft reboot & the London Special is an ignorable special rather than a season 6 episode. This show is also meant to be understandable to kindergarteners too, I doubt they’re focusing on the specifics of the London Special.
