Vice President @KashimSM today joined Muslim faithful to observe the Eid-el-Fitr prayers at Ramat Square, Maiduguri, the Borno State capital. The well-attended prayers, led by the Chief Imam of Borno State, Sheikh Shettima Mamman Saleh, drew a large gathering of worshippers and dignitaries, including Governor @ProfZulum, @SenatorNdume, and Senator @KakaShehu, amongst others. Speaking after the prayers, the Vice President expressed optimism that insecurity across the country would soon be contained through ongoing efforts by both the Federal and State Governments. He also called for unity among Nigerians, noting that the convergence of Ramadan and Lent presents a unique opportunity for reflection, compassion, and national cohesion. VP @KashimSM emphasised that national progress is inseparable from peace, urging citizens to work collectively in addressing shared challenges such as insecurity and underdevelopment.
