#COTTONWOODFIRE PROPERTY INFORMATION REQUEST We understand that many residents and property owners have questions and concerns regarding private property that may have been affected by the Cottonwood Fire east of Beaver City. At this time, it is still unknown what damages, if any, have occurred to cabins, private property, trailers, vehicles, equipment, or other belongings that were located within the affected area. Many individuals were asked to evacuate quickly and may have been forced to leave property behind. To help us identify and document potentially affected property, we are asking anyone who owns property, structures, vehicles, trailers, equipment, or other belongings in the fire area to complete an online witness statement through our website at beaverutahsheriff.com under the Records tab. Please provide as much detailed information as possible, including: • Property addresses or locations • GPS coordinates, if available • Description of structures and buildings • Description of vehicles, trailers, equipment, or other property • VIN numbers and license plate numbers for vehicles and trailers • Insurance information, if applicable • Any other information that may help us identify and assess the property Most importantly, please include a current phone number and/or email address where you can be contacted. As damage assessments become possible, the information you provide will help us communicate with property owners more efficiently. A member of our office will contact you as soon as we are able to assess and verify any damages. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as emergency personnel continue to respond to this incident and work to ensure public safety. Please remember that submitting information does not confirm damage to your property. It simply helps us identify potentially affected locations and contact owners as information becomes available.
