I legit thought this was a meme edit at first, but no this is literally the original sound design but sped up
I love the very simple approach to creating creature sounds this franchise has LOL

@Dr_GrantSeeker I found one of those pteranodons on ebay but since it's broken I'm thinking of customizing it by grafting the stellar head sculpt onto another figure

@SpatchCoqVT @Dr_GrantSeeker I can forgive that since the name of their family is carnotaurines. Not quite the same but it gets the point across
English

@crazy8wizard @Dr_GrantSeeker I will say, they are referred to in the film as "Carnotaurs" at a couple points, so at least that one makes some sense
English

@SpatchCoqVT @Dr_GrantSeeker Not to mention the missing syllables on these two.
I want to assume they intentionally marketed simpler sounding names to give the species a more tribal sound but in reality it’s probably to make them easier for kids and laypeople to remember

English

@Dr_GrantSeeker Looking at photos, I think I had the Aladar one? I played with that toy somewhere as a kid
Also, I noticed while looking it up that they screwed up the labeling. That would be pachyrhinosaurus “thick-nosed lizard”, but the marketing team must’ve thought “oh it’s based on a rhino”

@Dr_GrantSeeker I love to collect dinosaur miniatures so I’ve been hunting these for quite some time now (especially the Mosasaur and Pteranodon) but they’re ridiculously hard to find these days. I don’t even care if the egg, ooze, and card are long gone I just want the minis!
