Nothing is more ridiculous than foot-soldiers masking as generals. A true general is a navigator of decisions, not a body-builder of postures. A point missed, it seems, at the new War Department.

With all due respect, such a statement, if anything, indicates a misunderstanding of what intelligence is, as opposed to what he refers to as “cognitive capabilities.”
To think, as I noted to so many times, is to re-think..

The panic about AI transcending human intelligence is obviously misplaced. I once commented, in a one-liner on Wittgenstein’s later philosophy: all terms of language are indexical. Kant taught us that Beauty is indexical. Keats that Beauty and Truth are one. Intelligence too is indexical. The indexical intelligence taught in our schools and liberal academia has reached its limit—with a final push from AI. A new human intelligence is required, mandatory, and I believe it is emerging—yes, with the constructive help of AI.
