If you want to get good at something focus on building 1 skill at a time. Get really good then apply the same process to other skills. Try everything at once & you won’t get better at anything.

Why I Decided To Serve Less Clients This Year Last year was the speedboat year. The goal was getting to $100k/month. Quick. And I did. I am immensely happy that I did it. It took me places and it got me things. But when you go fast, you miss a few details. Some can be quite sad. 1 example: When a lot of people come in, a lot of people leave. I tolerated it because my goal wasn't building a cruise ship. I just wanted a speedboat. To prove to myself that I could get from A to B. But the leaving part never suited me well. I don't enjoy working with someone and then they quit on themselves and their goal 2 weeks in. I made an effort to save them but then it dawned on me: I can't change people. I can only boost what’s there. So I've decided that I'm no longer for them. Going forward this 2025 I hope I serve less clients. Because truth is most people just can't get nice things without them being handed to them. They can't get their offer out because they can't get over one person being rude. They can't build a recurring revenue business because they can't put in recurring actions. They can't get commitment from people because they can't commit to themselves. It shows: In their feed because they follow 9 gurus and don't stick to 1 plan. In their body because they say they've been "hitting the gym" but they look the exact same. And in their expression because their eyes are always jumping around. Unable to focus on the task at hand because they are subconsciously afraid of missing out. Success requires sacrifice. Everybody "knows" this to a degree. But very very very very very very very very few actually sacrifice. My stuff will reflect more of this going forward because my stuff is a reflection of myself. I'm no longer in a speedboat arc. I'm in a cruise ship arc. I hope I go slow because people willing to build businesses that last for decades are scarce. And if I'm getting too many people on board then something clearly went wrong. Here's to the scarce, willing-to-sacrifice people: You're doing it right. I hope that we can build something you're proud of together. And I hope it takes longer than we think. Because if it doesn't that means we're not doing it right.
