Finally got monetized on X 🎉 I started on X just 15 days ago with zero expectations. It was 17th May my day 1 of X premium . The goal was simple: connect with the tech community, learn, share, and grow together. Today, I'm officially eligible for monetization. A huge thank you to everyone who followed, liked, reposted, replied, and supported me from day one ❤️ This is just the beginning. Road to bigger milestones 🚀

The compound interest of showing up every day is insane. 17 days ago: → 0 followers → 0 verified followers → 0 impressions Today: → 1,130+ followers → 645 verified followers → 5.4M+ impressions → Monetized No viral secret. No growth hack. Just showing up every single day. Most people quit before consistency starts paying dividends. Keep posting. Keep building. The results compound.

After school, it was just about trying to make ends meet and figuring out how to survive. Bills, debts, and uncertainty were part of everyday life. Five months ago, I decided to take X seriously. I told myself I would give it everything, show up consistently, post, engage with others, support people, and stay active every single day, hoping something would eventually come from it. And I really did put my all into it. Some days I spent hours here engaging, liking, reposting, learning what works, and trying to grow my account the right way. Even when results weren’t showing, I still showed up. But this week is payout week, and I’m still not monetized. With just 2 days left, it honestly feels like all the effort, time, and energy I’ve put in still hasn’t translated into the result I was hoping for. That part is the hardest, not the work itself, but the feeling that the work still hasn’t paid off yet. I’m not giving up. Just trying to figure out what I might be missing.

Summer breaks can either build your career or delay it by a year. I'm choosing to invest mine. Next 60 days: → DSA Revision → LeetCode Daily → Dry Runs on Paper → FastAPI Backend → 1 Complete Project Let's see what 60 days of focused work can do. What are your goals for the next 60 days?

Recently, I've been seeing many monetized accounts getting their reach reduced or even getting demonetized. Many creators say they don't know what caused it. A few things I'd say to avoid: → Focus on quality replies, not reply count. 50-80 genuine replies/day is enough. → Keep a natural gap between replies. A 3-5 minute average delay is much safer. → Avoid too much spam comments like "Let's connect", "Follow me", or "Support each other." → Don't repeatedly post things like "Say hi and get 1,000 followers" or "Comment X to gain followers." → Posting "Good Morning" every single day without adding value can also look spammy. → Build conversations and provide value. Shortcuts may grow numbers, but they rarely build a sustainable audience.

I averaged around 80 replies/day. What's one habit that changed your life?

A lot of people want results. Very few want the process. The process you're avoiding is probably the result you want. Agree or disagree?

3 months back I decided to become more active on this platform. Slowly figuring out what I want to share and not. - I have been paid 3 times from the app. - Gained around 1300 followers - started sharing my gym videos - will also include coding or daily videos in due time I am sharing this because I got monetized a long time ago, but I stopped using the platform as much. Slowly people left and my monetization got paused. Not saying that I have figured out shit about this platform or content. It was just something on my mind that I wanted to share, feel free to skip this.

@tommithetechie @dark_coderz I first wrote C code in vi. I wrote PASCAL in the UCSD editor supplied with the Apple UCSD PASCAL system. I wrote 6502 code in the LISA ASM system editor. I also wrote 6502 assembly in the Apple ][+ monitor. Hand assembled code.

@dark_coderz VS Code. Not the most dramatic answer, but it is where a lot of people went from “trying coding” to actually building things.
