@elonmusk What’s the situation with Spain and Robotaxi? Is it likely to go through?

Europe will love Tesla self-driving! Due to the extreme regulatory burden of the EU, which in general stifles innovation in Europe, Tesla owners there have been stuck with basic lane-following.
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

German TV reporter testing @Tesla FSD (Supervised) V14 in the country as public transport in rural areas: "I was genuinely impressed. In the situations where we experienced the system, it worked perfectly and safely. I hadn't expected that. Even in the bad weather conditions in the Eifel region. In many cases, it reacted at least as well as a human driver, if not better. If Tesla is ever allowed to roll out this system nationwide in Germany, I think it will have a major impact on mobility. And that will only be the beginning of some very significant changes in transportation..."

Sounds about right 😂 Same energy as early Bitcoin meetups… everyone there, nobody really understanding it! Or the early days of online shopping: “why would I put my card details into a website?” Most people don’t recognise something early — they recognise it once it’s obvious. OpenClaw feels like that right now. A room full of people who know it matters but haven’t quite figured out why yet.

Went to an "OpenClaw meetup" in SF; literally no one understood this tool, even the people that went to the meetup about it. This is pretty insane. I think we are like 1,000 who understand the power of the tool on earth

THE APPLE APP STORE IS DROWNING IN AI SLOP people are treating the App Store like a Medium blog spitting out apps one after another. All with zero users and $0 revenue. Apple reviews that used to take hours are now stretching into WEEKS and even months > more than 550k apps were submitted just last year, highest in a decade.

@Govindtwtt Quite likely if you spend the next few years copy and pasting and don’t stop to learn what it’s doing for you.

@TTrimoreau Semrush Built my own system, now saving $$$ and it’s one less thing to login to. Needed more centralisation of tools. Used it for six years but today I’ve finally cancelled it.

This was released like… 48 hours ago. And somehow the internet is already full of: “Claude Computer Mastery” “Full Workflow Guide” “How I’m making $500k/year with this” You’ve had it for five minutes 😭 Half these people were installing it yesterday, now they’re selling frameworks and acting like they’ve been running it for years. The speed of “expert” in AI needs to be studied. At this rate we’ll have certifications by the weekend. To be fair, it is interesting but maybe… just maybe… use it for a week before launching a course!

There’s much hate towards Openclaw but this statement tells you all you need to know, and why you need to use it! @openclaw
Drew Austin@DrewAustin

It’s fascinating to me that people don’t really see the point of @openclaw yet as opposed to @claudeai or @OpenAI. But they will when the company paying for their AI asks them to leave their AI at the door when they leave. Thus making them basically unhireable. Owning your AI agent will be the only way forward.

The sudden wave of Claude computer demos needs to be studied. Yesterday: silence Today: everyone apparently has a fully working setup, recording “watch this” videos like it’s been part of their workflow for months Not saying Anthropic opened the free tokens tap… but the timeline feels like everyone got the same email at the same time 😅 It’s always the same cycle: new feature drops → demos everywhere → “this changes everything” → a week later nobody’s actually using it daily To be fair, Claude Computer Use is interesting, but right now it feels less like “real workflow” and more like “watch me prove it works” Still… incredible how fast people go from “never touched it” to “thread” overnight!

I get the vision — and I actually agree on the direction. But abundance doesn’t just create comfort… it creates new problems too. If everything is done for you, what do you optimise for? What do you work towards? We’re good at solving scarcity. We’ve never really lived in true abundance. The tech will get there. No doubt! The question is whether humans are ready for what comes with it.

ELON MUSK: "In the future, the robots will make so many robots, that they will actually saturate all human needs, meaning you won't be able to even think of something to ask the robot for at a certain point, like there will be such an abundance of goods and services. There'll be more robots than people. I think everyone on earth is going to have one humanoid robot because you would want a robot to watch over your kids, take care of your pet, take care of elderly parents. I'm very optimistic about the future. I think we're headed for a future of amazing abundance, which is very cool. Definitely we are in the most interesting time in history."

Fair take. Anthropic are definitely shipping right now. Claude computer use is cool… but let’s be honest, it’s still a bit clunky and very “watch me do it” rather than something you actually rely on yet. Feels more like a glimpse of where things are going than something people will use daily tomorrow. Race isn’t over — just warming up.

Say what you want but Anthropic has shipped a new feature every day for the past 20 days. OpenAI literally hasn’t done shit since it seems like agent mode which was a piece of shit. Grok is stuck in improving imagine videos which literally only anime cosplay bros care about. Today Claude launching computer use marks a huge milestone. The AI race is not so close right now it’s actually sad.
