Anyone following #AI and #legaltech should @Sandstone founder @nifleisher Nick was on McKinsey's law firm AI advisory team before leaving to start Sandstone and he has a deep understanding of the entire ecosystem.

I think this is another symptom of anthropomorphizing technologies that are more unlike humans than anything anyone has ever interacted with (e.g. other humans, dogs, cats, dolphins, babies, video games...etc.). Based on my understanding of large language models, the information that they encode and the high-dimensional space in which they “think” is extremely vast. To think that one can ask a few questions and ascertain a distinct and durable “personality” of an alien intelligence is most certainly naïve, and very likely a projection of one's own personality reflected back at them.

It's curious how people think large language models have a “personality”, the way a human has a personality.
