Lakers Nation, when did you all start rooting for the Lakers? Anyone here been fans since the ’90s? I’ve been repping the purple and gold since 2000.

@csmaddox2008 Divisive? Yes. True? Also yes. You can’t support the party of abortion, replacement migration, open borders and cutting off children’s genitalia and still be a good standing member of LDS church. It’s not compatible. Change my mind.

Lots of divisive assertions here. Many Latter-day Saints are Democrat. Many (most) non-religious people are moral. Many non-LDS people believe in God. Many Democrats value God, freedom, and faith. Most people are good, regardless of political or religious affiliation.

As Salt Lake County’s culture shifts away from the restored gospel and becomes more godless and secular, it’s also becoming more Democrat. The same pattern John Adams warned about: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” When faith fades, conservative values built on God, family, and freedom erode with it. Utah’s foundation is under attack. Time to stand firm, Utah is worth fighting for!

In Salt Lake County, many wards and stakes are closing. This graphic shows the decline in members, which is requiring many wards and stakes to be closed or merged with neighboring ones.

@EYakoby Not that I disagree, but playing Devil’s advocate: If it was a powerful entity that made him the fall guy, him ‘falling’ is part of the deal. I’m sure the parents would be incentivized to play their part as well.

Tyler Robinson’s parents turned him in and have not once even attempted to argue that he is innocent. On the other hand, podcasters like Candace Owens and now Joe Kent are doing everything they can to let Tyler walk free. Let that sink in.

Donald Trump called mail-in voting “mail-in cheating” on Monday. That same day, news broke that he just voted by mail in a Florida special election. His polling place is a 15-minute drive from Mar-a-Lago. He spent the last two weekends there. He mailed it anyway. He is now holding the entire country hostage to pass a bill making it harder for you to vote the way he just voted. Shameless hypocrisy. nytimes.com/2026/03/24/us/…

Bold Prediction: AJ Dybansta isn't messing around. He really is considering staying for another season at BYU. The kind of competitor that he is, it's bothering him that he got bounced in the first round. I predict he'll stay another season for his legacy.

HOW IS THIS NORMAL? Trump on the girls’ school in Minab: “The Tomahawk missile that destroyed it could have been anyone’s. A Tomahawk is very generic.” Facts: Tomahawk missiles are manufactured by RTX in Phoenix, Arizona. The US sells them to exactly four countries: the UK, Australia, Japan, and the Netherlands. None of them are at war with Iran. The White House already confirmed behind closed doors to Congress that the US targeted the area. CNN confirmed US responsibility. 165 girls aged 7-12 are dead. And the President of the United States just told the American people a Tomahawk missile is “very generic.” This is not a mistake. This is not confusion. This is a lie. On camera. About dead children.

It was Trump’s corrupt ass that destroyed the first Iran deal bc his Zionist overlords told him to. Now he’s planning a war with Iran on Israel’s behalf. And if he didn’t, he wouldn’t have stacked his cabinet with warmongering Zionists. Stop trying to pretend he’s not fully on board with this.

It’s going unnoticed because so much other news is happening, but the war drums are beating again in D.C. The warmongers worry this is their last chance to get the white whale they’ve been chasing for thirty years, an all-out regime change war against Iran. A new Middle East war would be a catastrophic mistake. Our military stockpiles are depleted from three years of backing Ukraine. Our effort to reshore manufacturing has only just begun and will take years to bear fruit. War would worsen our already immense deficit and national debt. Iran is larger than Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan combined. A war would not be easy and could easily become a calamity. Thanks to President Trump’s restraint during his first term, America has a golden opportunity to pull away from Middle East quagmires for good. We shouldn’t throw that opportunity away so that sone D.C. has-beens can feel tough by sending young Americans to die yet again.

@AriFleischer @seanspicer At a funeral no less, what kind of person turns a funeral into a political event?? They should all be ashamed, Jesse Jackson deserved much more than that.

If you want to know why Donald Trump was elected, watch Barack Obama’s attack speech yesterday at Jesse Jackson’s funeral. As he did throughout his presidency, he created a straw man to describe Republicans as bigots who force the American people to “turn on each other”. He said similar crap when he was President and the GOP was the party of Bush, McCain and Romney. It’s the language of bitterness and resentment that makes good people recoil to be described that way. Obama is one of the most divisive figures in US history, except he is celebrated by the MSM because they are partisans. They take sides and loved and protected Obama. It’s no wonder a tough, no BS, bull in the China shop emerged. That person was a fed up Trump, who broke the MSM by not caring what they thought. He showed Rs they could punch back against the Ds and win. His rise coincided with the welcome birth, at long last, of conservative media which gave voice to the voiceless who had been forced to consume the prejudices of the MSM. I can’t stand Obama. He was weak, patronizing, condescending and he put America last. But having listened to him yesterday, I reminded the only good thing he did was help elect President Trump.

It should be a much bigger story that oil prices surged because of Trump’s illegal war in Iran, forcing the White House to ease sanctions on Russian oil—only for Russia to take that money and help Iran target American troops.
