@animal_loverCA @NBCSGiants Every time Jesus speaks about marriage in the Bible He is speaking to an audience that knows the Old Testament scriptures and what it says about homosexuality being a sin. Jesus said He didn’t come to change the laws but to fulfill them. Nothing you said was true.

So that would mean Mary’s genealogy is in Matthew and Joseph’s genealogy is in Luke. Either way those two genealogy’s lead to Jesus one is Mary’s and the other is Joseph’s.

So it says exactly *when* Immanuel will be born. Jesus is 600 years too late.

The bible has variations which none of them are authorized. This is why the bible is corrupt and the Quran isn’t.

Korra exposed another false prophecy claim in the Bible! Matthew was intentionally reading the Messiah back into the Old Testament, taking passages out of their original context and presenting them as prophecies about Jesus. Many of these so called “messianic prophecies” are actually the work of Matthew’s interpretation rather than what the original Old Testament authors intended. @korrathetaymi

@Kryptotajeer It’s in Isaiah 11:1. The word for branch in Hebrew is netser. When written in Hebrew it’s NZR which are the exact same consonants used as Nazareth. In Aramaic, the word for Nazareth and the Hebrew word for branch sound almost identical. This is what Matthew is referring.
