@GelidPlateau I know you've carved out a niche for yourself as the gaming historian for Japanese retro games who sneers at anything post-2000 but that's revisionism. Plenty of great games came out in that time (Halo 2/3, Bioshock, Mass Effect, CODMW, Fallout 3). Not defending piss filter tho

@enlightenserf Only era worse than this is probably 1977-1983 where games barely worked and they were a novelty for when you got bored of the pinball machine

@NorthlanderF Ask yourself why almost all of Restore's campaign literature keeps contrasting itself with Reform and barely mentions Burnham. If the party wants to position itself as a pressure group to Reform's right, fine, but don't pretend as if it has a serious shot at winning the seat.

Never going to happen because Restore is more of a vessel for Lowe's personal grievances than a genuine opposition to Labour. Burnham winning would be a symbolic victory for the party, amplifying their media reach and blunting Reform's momentum.
Ben Walker@BNHWalker

Two 5pt leads for Burnham in Makerfield now. But both show Restore getting a larger share of the vote than 5pts. If there was a time for Restore to make an intervention and endorse Kenyon, this would be the weekend.
