I’ll probably lose followers for this, and that’s fine. I’d rather stay true to myself than chase more followers. Bombing bridges used by civilians, while civilians are actively using them, isn’t regime change. It’s how you create the next generation of extremists. The stated objective was to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, and by all accounts, Operation Midnight Hammer June 22, 2025 was claimed to have destroyed those facilities. The second objective; liberating the Iranian people...is something I fully support. But destroying infrastructure those same people rely on is not liberation. Let Israel fight their own wars. This approach is short-sighted and morally inconsistent. U.S.-led regime change efforts have a long track record of failure, and Iran itself is a prime example. A regime shaped in part by past foreign intervention that ultimately backfired. Sorry, American friends. Destroying equipment they were forced to leave behind so it does not fall into the hands of the enemy is also the smart thing to do (we know what flack we all gave Biden for leaving equipment behind). As for how you feel about the war in general, and the risks of having military get downed behind enemy lines because of the war, is a different and broader discussion.
