On October 8, 2020, a mighty dragon was born...
...and became the leading DEX on @0xPolygon.
4 years later and still standing strong.
Time to celebrate another QuickSwap birthday, with many more to come! 🎂

I got around to playing some @Sheertopia this weekend.
I explored the beginning world, met some characters, and played minigames.
They also have some fun things cooking that are soon to be released! (I saw guns in one of @funshocrypto live streams 👀)
I have fully written this thread twice... and have accidentally deleted it twice 🤪 so glad to be posting it finally!

Are you over 30 years old?
Do you have something to offer other than be a mass extractor and ride tailcoats and/or scammer?
I’ve had a Twitter group with 180+ members however it turned into a bit of a tweet shill fest.
We have transitioned to TG.
This is a place for mature age (not necessarily mature minds) degens that may be looking for an outlet but also could be building some cool shit, looking for opportunities, or all of the above.
There is banter, but my ultimate goal here is to create a powerful group of “Web3 Boomers” to network, collaborate, learn and grow.
Nothing here has changed.
If you genuinely feel you fit the mould, please send me a dm with a bit about yourself, what you are building and what you can offer.
Disclaimer: we do have a lot of banter, dad jokes, sarcasm, insults and reminisce about the “good old days” regularly.

I’ve been thinking a lot about sharing my experience through friends and connections, how indie games are built, especially by smaller teams. Time & time we see or hear build on public when it comes to web3; while we claim WEB2 are not build on public. yes not on social but i would say they do it in communities where there are gamers, investors and speculators are missing. .
Here’s the common process, which I experience the most.
2020 till now most of the web3. .
Small group decides the core idea – It often starts with just a few people deciding the game mechanics, lore, and theme. This is done quietly before it’s ever brought to the public.
Community engagement comes later – The team starts speaking about it on platforms like XSpaces, sharing updates after most of the game is already decided.
WEB3 - Yes recently I have seen some projects or suspect some projects who are building are building with a good number of people in community... >
---------------------------------
Traditional Web2 games involve more people from the start – Web2 indie games often grow from discussions in Discord or Slack, where a larger group of gamers and developers collaborate on everything, from the lore to mechanics.
Word of mouth is key – This is why some Web2 indie games on Steam can hit 50K DAU without much marketing. The community involvement drives word of mouth, making traditional marketing unnecessary.
A good example is “Among Us.” It was created by a small team but became huge because the community was fully behind it. Another one is “Hades,” where early access let players directly influence the final product.
So, if you're thinking about building a game, remember this: involving your community early and often can be the best form of marketing.

@adoptwombat I think your run button is not there because of your emulator, running airplay would have allowed you to show screen from your mobile device

@0xJesusMartinez @cagyjan1 @sheertopia Gen-S battlegrounds could be a good one for this match up. You'll love it Jesus, think Mortal combat, Tekken and Street Fighter rolled up into a Web3 experience.
