Not sure trainers get that same consideration….but the goalposts are continually moving……
Starz@joel_starz
From the article, “Conditions of the agreement were not included in the order.” So an agreement with a government agency are not available to the public?

The trend is good, but statistically, there is no significant difference at a 95% confidence level. Field size, number of actual races, etc all need to be factor in before we make conclusions. The amount of added expense to the industry, especially smaller operations, cannot be justified at this point. One death is one to many, but HISA needs to focus on uniform testing, penalties and transparency. Leave training to trainers and veterinary scrutiny to race track practitioners and track vet partnerships. We have run enough owners out of business. HISA needs to be reeled in.

The Equine Injury Database reports the rate of fatal injury was 1.07 per 1,000 starts; tracks covered by HISA reported a rate of 1.04 per 1,000 starts: tinyurl.com/ub8uwpur

@unusual_whales Save 5% of your income, drive 10year old cars, take a sack lunch, don’t go to casinos, limit your alcohol/drug consumption and get up and work every day. In 25 yrs you will crack into the 1% group.

@MarcoFoster_ @JamesCarville I recommend a brain mri and complete psychiatric examination.

James Carville to Trump: “You do not determine who in the fuck is gonna be successful in this country because you are a model for the theory that a fat stupid sack of shit can get elected president because that’s what you are — fat stupid sack of shit. I love that I have dyslexia, I love that I have a short attention span. The only thing that I’ve ever been able to concentrate on in my whole life is how much I fucking hate you”

@GovPressOffice @CAgovernor He doesn’t have buy gas to drive work so he can buy food and pay the rent for his family.

@RepoleStable The Jockey Club and HISA have one major theme in common- “taxation without representation or results”
English

“‘Erroneously approved” 😂 🤡
You can’t make up or script this level of BS and total incompetence??? 😳🔥
We are The Jockey Club.
The Jockey Club@jockeyclub
Regarding the name Marcus Aurelius, the registrar's office has reviewed the matter. The name was erroneously approved this past January. The owner of the horse in question has accepted a name change. Marcus Aurelius is ineligible for use until January 1, 2027.
English

Jockey club definitely considers the horsemen as customers and not as members. We own the horses(entertainers) , but they act as though they own all the information (the music). Every owner should have free access to every once of information in that registry.
The jockey club needs DOGE! Properties(NYC in particular), staff, travel, donations, etc need to be smashed and monies put into horseman controlled tracks and sport elevation. The party is over and our sport has passed out. It needs a trip to the emergency room to save it!

After @PatCummingsNTA and I watched Everett Dobson talk about “unity” and “collaboration” at the HBPA Conference, I said to Pat… you know what, let’s give this one last real shot.
So we did.
I had my attorneys send a letter to the @jockeyclub attorneys.
Not complicated.
Sit down. One room. One full day.
Let’s put everything on the table and actually fix this sport.
We gave them 48 hours to respond.
It’s now been over a week.
Crickets. 🦗
No response.
No respect.
No interest.
Sadly, it’s exactly what I expected.
Here’s what we offered…
All the Stewards.
Jim Gagliano.
Me.
Pat Cummings.
Aron Wellman.
And a real group of industry leaders across every part of the sport… track operators, trainers, aftercare, breeders, etc.
One full day.
No hiding.
No excuses.
No bullshit.
If all that talk about “unity” meant anything…this is an automatic yes.
But it’s not.
Because they don’t want unity.
They don’t want collaboration.
They don’t want transparency.
They want control.
They want silence.
They want the same broken system that’s been dragging this sport down for decades.
So let me be crystal clear…
This was it.
The last good faith effort.
They ignored it.
Now we move forward…and we’re going on offense at a whole different level.
If there’s any real media left in this sport that actually gives a damn, ask the @jockeyclub why they’re afraid to sit in a room and answer real questions from real people???
This has been going on for 3+ years.
I’m not going anywhere.
This fight is for all of us.
What do you think???
