@Empty_America The American southwest, especially California, is attractive to people from all over the world. It's unrealistic to assume the rest of the world will leave Mexican-Americans in their current strong position in such a desirable destination.

@mike10101013 There are a whole lot of people in this world, so it's hard to predict future immigration patterns. For example, during the Cold War, nobody anticipated that Southern California would have so many ex-Soviets by now. Many Americans aren't aware of it yet.

Ironically California will only get more hispanic the next 20 years at least. Asians are below replacement as are nhw.

Which will break down clear ethnic group boundaries within 2-3 generations, producing a "spectrum."

Algo que me tomó realmente por sorpresa en su momento es la cantidad considerable de criollos y blancos (~82% euro) que tiene (muchos para ser andino). Realmente no es tan raro que un blanco se identifique como "mestizo" en más regiones con más ascendencia europea.
