@CanucksArmy Start in Abby. Cootes has the two-way, high motor, relentlessness to be a role guy in the NHL today, but I want to see him improve his offensive production. He should start as the 1C in Abby playing in all situations and then I want him to comfortably come in as the 3C szn after.

Bowen Byram is reportedly being shopped around. The 25Y.O LHD plays with a lot of pace and produces at a high level. Find Byram a spot where he can QB PP1 and get more touches to improve his possession numbers. More puck touches = higher volume.

Darren Raddysh is most likely heading to the Toronto Maple Leafs. A monster yer for Raddysh, his offensive numbers were through the roof. I would expect a deal in the 9-10M range. Raddysh is a gamble at 30yrs old we'll see how long he keeps this up. Instantly improves TOR PP.

@CanucksArmy I’m not supportive of this, unless it can result in the Canucks getting an elite prospect or a top 10 pick. If the return is good, get it done. If not, don’t hold salary and trade him just for the sake of it.

@TalkeyHockey I think the floor with Hiller is a playoff team with 34/88/91 all in the 60-70 point range. If Hiller adjusts to the roster and utilizes and deploys 34/88 properly I can see a well structured team with the superstars filling the holes that were there in LA

LA's best players were old (Kopitar, Doughty) their stars were barely capable of snagging 60-80 points (Kempe, Fiala, Byfield) and you're telling me that HILLER was the problem? Leafs suspected top 6: Mckenna Matthews Nylander Knies Tavares Cowan I think he's gonna do great

@MidgioNation @NHLRumourReport I don’t see the worth if you’re not getting value for him. Keep him, build up his value and see where it goes from there. There’s no rush he’s at his lowest point right now and getting cap dump + 2nd/mid round picks does nothing for the Canucks

My 2 cents: Hiller runs a low event, high possession system. You look at a team like CAR who has the talent+structure see what happens. LA didn't have a AM34/Nylander so you could see the OFF numbers come up as a team or the Leafs become a playoff team with 34&88 as 70P guys.

The #canucks have to capitalize on Filip Hronek's value. RHD premium, heavy minutes, 7.25M until 34 Y.O, doesnt fit the Canucks window. For other teams you're looking at one of the best No.2Ds potentially No.1 on some teams.
