At the very best ( IMO ) Shane Wright turns into a 40 to 50 pt guy down the road, at worst he's a guy that ends up in the Swiss league shortly. Thats maybe worth a 4th or 5th rounder, not a guy like Willander... not even close.

@ChrisKFilms It was 15.6 last year, so it dragged down his average from the previous two seasons. Still really strong results. The changes to the Canes transition game last year opened him up to more quality rush chances, which is his weakness.

@wharrison51 I think the Canucks would/should be willing to work on something involving Lekkerimaki. Perhaps another prospect or roster player. Depending on what pick you’d want too.

Rumored potential trade partners for Wright: 1) Buium. Won’t happen unless we have compromising photos of the Sedin twins. 2) Willander. I’d do this trade straight up. Vancouver probably won’t. If adding Dunn or another veteran moves the needle, it’d still be worth it. 1/2

@nuckingaround I think I completely agree with this. I’ll say the Canucks should be looking to get Sasson into the lineup regularly. He’s not going to be a top 6 forward but they should be seeing if he can be a regular bottom 6 forward.

The hardest part about having furry friends is saying goodbye. This is Husky, who lives with my sister in law. My wife grew up with him, and as I became part of my wife's family, I spent a lot of years with him. Tomorrow, he gets to go to the big cat tree in the sky. It's been a sudden development, but he lived a full life, going from feral cat to being adopted at age 4. He also helped teach my cat, Lehma, how to play, hunt, and climb trees from the time she was a kitten. I'm going to miss him.
