@SouthernRailUK That I understand but it was so overcrowded. People were feeling ill and distressed but there was not one member of staff to be seen. I felt it was quite dangerous and no one did a thing to help. Very disappointing.

@SouthernRailUK Hi. We are stuck on a late running train to Brighton at Gatwick. The previous train was cancelled and you seem to think that 8 coaches are plenty instead of the normal 12. Some of the coaches are IMO dangerously overcrowded. Why have you allowed this to happen?

UPDATE - The points failure has been rectified - All lines open👍 Trains have already begun running between Brighton and Littlehampton in both directions and you will now be able to make your journey by train.

@SouthernRailUK We are finally moving. And yes I read the warnings on the website, but were told at Three Bridges if we are going to Victoria get this train. Do not blame me for your poor service.

Communications have been out since yesterday evening with advice for customers to use the buses instead as there is a reduced service on this line today. @SouthernRailUK Hi I'm on a very delayed train to Victoria at Horsham. I understand about the landslip but we are waiting for a pilot driver. Why weren't they here waiting for us? We were nearly 30 minutes late to begin with

Hi there, as we are only able to run along one line between Horsham and Dorking, you are waiting for a member of Network Rail staff to pilot the trains between these stations. At this time, there is a train running from Dorking to Horsham with the pilot staff. Once this train arrives into Horsham, the member of staff will then be able to allow your train to leave Horsham.
